Playing placement
Under Tenhou rules, the final result combines raw points, oka, and placement uma, so All Last play requires exact payment targets.
The principle
Under Tenhou rules, everyone starts on 25,000 points with a 30,000 return score. The 20,000-point oka created by that gap goes to first place, then uma is +20, +10, -10, and -20. If raw scores tie, initial seat order breaks the tie.
Rule and example
At All Last, calculate the exact gap to the target place. A direct ron against that player raises your score and lowers theirs by the same payment, moving the gap by twice the transferred amount. Tsumo splits payments; dealer status, honba, deposits and ties all change the target.
What changes
Under Tenhou, a dealer leading with at least 30,000 points automatically ends the game after winning or after being tenpai at an exhaustive draw. WRC 2025 allows neither agari yame nor tenpai yame, so a South 4 dealer win repeats the hand.
Mistake to avoid
WRC 2025 starts at 30,000 points with no oka, uses +15, +5, -5, and -15 uma, and splits uma on a tie. In both profiles, a small hand may be enough to move up one place; the right choice depends on the exact payment and what the rules schedule next.
