Scores divided by four before the top eight
The tournament ran eight 80-minute hanchan over two days. The first six used the full field. After the cut, the eight qualifiers played two more rounds for places 1 to 8, while everyone else kept their total and continued in a separate ranking. The Running standings nevertheless record three departures after hanchan 6 and one more after hanchan 7; the final ranking lists them as disqualifications.
The rules used the WRC 2025 base with the lower-penalties table and a few club adjustments. Toronto’s etiquette video shows the procedures used for shuffling, calls, tile placement, and the score sheet.

The eight finalists change tables between hanchan 7 and hanchan 8 according to a rotation published before the event.
The full official standings rank 85 players. They separately record two substitutes, one withdrawal, and four disqualifications, along with the final-division results.
