bracket tells you who advanced. A game tells you how. We collected all 70 hanchan played from June 1 to August 7 and restored each one to its two-game table. Every replay button opens the actual tile sequence on Tenpai, with one point of view per player and the profile built for M.League rules. You can follow a player’s run, return to a particular move, and compare all four views of the table.
70 hanchan across 35 tables
The archive covers all sixteen opening-round tables, four second-round tables, eight third-round tables, the round of 16, both semifinals, and the final. The two hanchan from every match remain separate. A player can therefore lose game one and still advance, or win game two without closing the overall gap. The score on each card is the combined table result, while every button opens one complete game.
To make every player easy to follow from one table to the next, names appear in Latin script with the given name first. The logs retain the original Japanese spelling. The replay table also shows a Tenpai estimated level for each player. It is not an official Elo: it simply places that player’s run in this edition on the site’s scale.
How to use the bracket
Pick a stage, then a table. The two players who advanced are marked in gold, and their combined score appears beside both hanchan. “Game 1” and “Game 2” open the same reader, where the point-of-view control switches between all four players. Moves flagged by the model stay synchronized with the position on the table.
The archive holds 70 hanchan: sixteen opening-round tables, four in round two, eight in round three, the round of 16, two semifinals, and the final.

Your games and feedback help us build a better place to play riichi. The numbered Kin-Urushi set is our thank-you to the first 1,000 players.
A tournament read across two hanchan
M Tournament advances two players from each table on the combined score from two hanchan. In the final, Rio Tojo finished the first on 78.8 points, 67.1 ahead of Naoki Setokuma, then won the second as well on 52.8.
Reviews use the M.League profile
Every replay uses the M.League profile. It records red fives, the competition’s uma, the current score, and the relevant hand. The report therefore keeps the ruleset attached to the log instead of applying the general riichi profile.
Rio Tojo’s final is now available
Both final hanchan are now open. Rio Tojo scored 78.8 in the first and 52.8 in the second to finish on 131.6. Naoki Setokuma follows on 19.9, ahead of Sayaka Okada (-71.3) and Kenji Katsumata (-80.2). Both replay buttons let you return to the table from any of the four seats.
