Toulouse Riichi Open 2026, Supernova Winter Edition 2026 in Louvain-la-Neuve, and Tenpai Championship Open 2026 in Tampere close the list on December 12 and 13. All three events carry “EMA approval pending” status on the official listing.
August: United Kingdom, Portugal, and Ireland
UK Open Riichi Championship opens the month on August 1 and 2 in Guildford. Porto Riichi Open Championship follows on August 8 and 9. Irish Riichi Championship is listed for August 22 and 23 in Dublin. Three countries follow one another across three weekends.
September: Leuven, Marseille, and Vienna
Vincent Bormans won Rode Lotus Riichi, played in Leuven on September 12 and 13 with 48 players. Yuwen Pan and Akira De Mey complete the podium. Chuuren Potos Open Marseille follows on September 19 and 20, then Vienna Riichi Open on September 26 and 27.
Leuven, Marseille, and Vienna therefore host three certified tournaments across three consecutive weekends in September.

October: the busiest month
The Danish championship and Frankfurt’s Four Winds Open open the month on October 3 and 4. Gdansk follows on October 10 and 11, then Bologna on October 17 and 18. White Rose in Leeds, Under the Sea in Turku, and the Red Dragon Cup in Kyiv run on October 24 and 25, while Pumpkin Tiles takes place in Tbilisi on October 24. October 31 adds another Pumpkin Tiles event, in Yerevan, alongside Brussels and Paris.
The October 24 and 25 weekend brings together four EMA-approved tournaments in Leeds, Turku, Tbilisi, and Kyiv. October 31 brings together Pumpkin Tiles in Yerevan, Manganneken Pis in Brussels, and TNT Paris.
November: five listed tournaments
Shiro Washi Taikai is listed for November 14 and 15 in Warsaw. Valencia Hatsuyume follows on November 21 and 22. Graz and Oranda Sai Kou in Alblasserdam run on November 28 and 29. The EMA-certified Mahjong Spirit Riichi Open is scheduled for November 29 in Réunion.

December: Réunion, Toulouse, Louvain-la-Neuve, and Tampere
